Hi Firman,

I'm not sure what body of work you are referring to. Are you referring to my master's thesis "The Logical Nature of Aristotle's Enthymeme", or my book "The Yoga Party: Philosophical Writings" or my blog in general? Please tell me and I'll try to answer your question.

As far as my Master's Thesis is concerned it is about a rhetorical device called the Enthymeme coined by the philosopher Aristotle. In this work at least ecocriticism would not apply.

Thanks

Greetings. Nice to see you. I'm Firman Nugraha, students of Indonesia University of Education-Indonesia. I'm just wonder, is your thesis has got something to do with the brand new literary theory ecocriticism?

Jake,

I'm glad you find my work is pertinent these days. It's interesting that you find my perspective a step forward from the post-marxist and post-colonial position where academia still resides. I hope to contribute to this conversation

Best,
Doug

"My work isn’t mainstream."

It may be more mainstream than you think, these days anyway. I myself arrived at your site while randomly googling on the topics you're writing about.

I think its mainstream in the sense that there is a probably a much bigger market for it than you realize, even though that market hasnt yet been tapped anywhere near its full potential by the publishing industry (or by academe which is still in its postmarxist/postcolonial phase for the most part).

Thanks Jake

I'm not averse to a publisher but I've thought it would be easier to promote it myself. My work isn't mainstream. It would be interesting to get this going with people with similar outlooks

Thanks again for commenting
